Creator-based® Confidence: Brain + Bible = The Perfect Confidence Formula

Neurology & Faith

We have covered 5 of the 9 C’s- courage, clarity, calm, curiosity, and creativity- now it’s time for confidence!  In the world today, fear abounds.  Creating confidence is a much needed antidote, and we can show you how.  Really!

Confidence banishes fear because it rewires the brain to interpret challenges as opportunities rather than threats. It happens through both neurobiology and spiritual truth. Check out both approaches-

Neuroscience Perspective: How Confidence Rewires the Brain

1. Fear Lives in the Amygdala– The amygdala is the part of the brain responsible for processing fear. When you lack confidence, your brain sees uncertainty as a threat, triggering the fight-or-flight response.

2. Confidence Strengthens the Prefrontal Cortex – The prefrontal cortex (responsible for rational thinking and problem-solving) regulates fear. The more confident you are, the more this region overrides the amygdala, keeping fear in check.

3. Neuroplasticity in Action – Confidence is a learned skill. The more you step into courage, the more neural pathways form to support a mindset of resilience instead of fear.

Spiritual Truth: Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

– As 2 Timothy 1:7 teaches, *”For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”  Confidence in God’s plan allows us to move forward, trusting that we are never alone.

– Weakness Transformed into Strength – Ether 12:27 reminds us that if we humble ourselves and turn to Christ, He makes weak things strong. Confidence isn’t about never feeling fear—it’s about trusting that through Christ, we can overcome it.

– Boldness in Truth – When we know who we are (children of God with divine potential), fear loses its grip. Confidence in God’s promises gives us strength beyond our own.

Creator-based® Steps to Build Confidence and Overcome Fear

1. Rehearse and Remember you have within you light and truth, all the power you need to grow and progress. Remember the successes you have had, and then act before you feel ready – Courage is not the absence of fear; it’s action despite it.

2. Rewire Your Inner Dialogue – Shift from “What if I fail?” to “What if I grow?”  You are created to increase.  To grow and become more. Truth.

3. Surround Yourself with Faith-Filled People – Fear is contagious, but so is confidence.  At Coach n Clear, you will find support that fills your need.

4. Anchor Yourself in Prayer and Scripture – When doubt creeps in, return to the Word of God.

5. Celebrate Small Wins – Confidence is built by celebrating to integrate even small victories.

When you train your brain to trust instead of fear, and when you anchor your spirit in our Creator’s promises, confidence becomes your natural state. And in that confidence, fear has no room to stay.

“If fear has been holding you back, let’s change that together. Join us inside Coach n Clear, where we grow in confidence, courage, and faith—one step at a time.”

Have a beautiful week!

All my love,

Beth
