Hope so hard that it feels like trust.

Did you know there is such a thing as Hope Coaching? Born from pure Positive Psychology, this kind of work will help you create clear goals and produce multiple ways to achieve them.  Then, your coach will help you reframe any barriers as challenges & opportunities and build the life you crave.  Hope coaching is amazing. We do it here in most of our sessions.

We help clients hold on to their specific belief strongly enough that they achieve their desired outcome. We help them create hope. It’s like that old saying, “Hope so hard that it feels like trust.” That’s trust in yourself and others, friend. You can learn it. You can make it.

Hope, like faith, is a power. it is not just wishful thinking. Wishing is ambiguous and passive. Hope is active. You choose it.

This week on the podcast, we’re considering blocks to hope and how to overcome them. One of my favorite tools for overcoming is gratitude. Abundant hope has its relationship in gratitude and abundance.

 It has been said,

Plant seeds of happiness, hope, success, and love. It will come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature. When you are grateful, fear disappears, and abundance appears. So does hope. And with that gratitude and hope, comes praise.

Humor me a minute and think about this- Good skin care is essential.  We spend time deciding how to cleanse, which cleansers to use, even which direction to cleanse, and especially how often. After all, our face is one of the first things to represent us.

Consider this: What would it look like to wash your face every morning in a bath of praise? I wash my face every morning, but it’s not often to praise.

My mind may be busy going over my list of things to do, looking at my latest wrinkle or dark circle, or noticing the gray in my hair. Rarely do I remember praise entering into the mix. But what if my gentle foaming cleanser were actually praise?

Imagine your feeling of hope for the day to come if you instead chose to wash your face in a bath of praise! Thank you, Charles Spurgeon, for this incredible idea! It’s genius.

Consider joining us on the podcast, the 50/50 Girl Club, or in a personal coaching session to increase the hope in your life. It will turbocharge you. We even have coaching groups, if you enjoy making new friends and working with others.

This week, I challenge you to wash your face every morning in a bath of praise. Let me know what it does for your personal hope. For sure, it will make a better week!

Let’s make it great together!

All my love,

Beth
