Creator-based® Characteristics

In the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence, 

our Founding Fathers asserted that we are “endowed by our Creator 

with certain unalienable Rights, and among these are

 Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

I love the phrase ‘endowed by our Creator.’  

An endowment is a gift.  We are Gifted! 

We are created for Life.  We are created for Liberty.  We are created for Happiness.

Do you believe that? Are there parts of you that roll their eyes about being created for happiness? Kinda depends on the day for me.

The thing is, friend, we are created for a ‘life of unrestrained happiness,’ or in other words, joy.

 Now that part of you is really rolling her eyes, isn’t she?

Sick Kids

Traffic

Joy?

What the heck? 

As a 50/50 Girl, I want both sides of the coin- the good and the not-so-good.  

When we want them both, our outlook on them changes. 

When we respond to the not-so-good without resistance, with welcoming even, 

it feels different.

It feels like the learning it is.

There is peace.

There is appreciation.

There is progress.

 This week, remember your unalienable rights endowed to you by your Creator- Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

 Here’s to a “life of unrestrained happiness’ this week.

Create it.  

You have been gifted with everything you need to do that.

Right here, right now. Let’s create some good.
